Cuddly for sure

Yes Amelia, the onesie says it all. And those eyes. Those eyes.

Outdoor cuddles

Yes, Amelia, hanging out outside with you is my new favorite thing. You're extra snuggly lately and I can't get enough of our one on one time. You love watching Java run around and the tree leaves bouncing in the wind. And you're starting to sit up on your own, especially on my lap. These pictures - so much love...

6 months

Yes, Amelia, you are SIX months old today - half of a year! We can't believe it. You are now over 15lb (wow!), and very long (not sure exactly until our next pediatrician appointment). You are such a different person than you were last month. I mean, really different. A little person! Every day is truly a joy. You make us smile non-stop. You flail your arms and legs just for fun. You have a dance party with me in the morning while I'm getting your food ready for daycare, imitating my crazy body movements. You continue to squeal and grunt and make us laugh, often when we least expect it (I especially love when you squeal in excitement upon greeting me when I come home from work). You love touching our faces and feeling Daddy's scruffy beard (or surprisingly smooth face). You play with your feet constantly (and often find them in your mouth). You've started to sing along with Mommy in the car, much to my delight. We've had two swim lessons and you had a little practice in the pool in Florida and splashing/kicking in the bath. You're very close to sitting up on your own and are strong enough now to enjoy your jumperoo. Tummy time is still pretty much unbearable, but you've flipped from tummy to back, which is very exciting. You also just started sticking your tongue out and doing "raspberries" - another way you imitate us, which is incredible. Every day is a new adventure with you... we can't wait for what's next!
LOVE YOU SO.
