Express yourself

Yes, Amelia, you are just hilarious. You smile constantly and make new faces every day. Your expressions are priceless.

That curl

Yes, Amelia, I am in love. In love with the tiny sweet curl of hair on top of your head. It's still growing and so, so adorable I can't stand it... Keep the hair coming sweet girl.

Look at you

Yes, Amelia, you were just playing on your playmat at 7am after your morning feeding. Eating the hoof of your cow stuffed animal and smiling away. You blew my mind. Just lying there... You're so big! You have this adorable little curl on top of your head. You kick and squirm and throw your arms around with glee. You look at me and Daddy so lovingly. Your personality beams as you discover the world. I could stare at you all day, even just lying on your playmat. Love you so.

Feet feet feet

Yes, Amelia, this morning I woke to your coos and saw you with a foot in your mouth. I will always find this hilarious.

Big eyes

Yes, Amelia, I haven't posted much this month. That's because I'm reveling in your gaze. I love locking eyes with you. Blue on blue. And I love seeing you explore the world visually. You are very curious. You make wonderful expressions just by the look of your eyes. So much love behind them.

Father's Day

Yes, Amelia, you are the luckiest. You have a dad to whom you are his entire world. You fall asleep on his chest like it's made of a million feathers. You rest on his shoulder as he paces to soothe you to sleep. You smile your biggest grin from across the room when you see him. You stroke his beard with wonder. You would eat his nose if he let you. You squeal when he turns over in bed to greet you in the morning. You hold his hand and fingers as if to say, "don't ever let go, Daddy." So lucky.

Motor skills

Yes, Amelia, it's amazing to see you developing motor skills. You love rolling to your side and grabbing hanging toys. At daycare, you have rolled from your tummy to your back a few times, but we haven't seen it yet. Can't wait to see what you'll do next!
